The show, WickedThe musical is inspired from an acclaimed novel by Gregory Maguire with re-imaginedstories and characters which are created by L Frank Baum in The WonderfulWizard Of Oz.  Wicked is all about the profoundfriendship between two. Their first meeting as sorcery students, when theblonde, popular Glinda, and the misunderstood, shy, green Elphaba which furtherleads to a beautiful friendship.

The show brilliantlydepicts the extraordinary adventures in Oz. Composer and lyricist StephenSchwartz discovered Maguire’s novel and adapted Wicked into a musical. The showcomprises of some of the iconic numbers such as Defying Gravity, For Good, TheWizard And I and, of course, No One Mourns The Wicked.

On October 2003,Wicked made its Broadway premiere and was later transferred to the West End’sApollo Victoria Theatre in September 2006. The hugely loved show has truly becomea global phenomenon.
