The era of late 1970’s and 80’s witnessed some of the finest and well-loved musicals, including Fiddler on the Roof, The Sound of Music and Camelot at the Apollo Victoria Theatre! With the arrival of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Starlight Express, the interior of the auditorium undergone redesigning. There were race tracks that are running through the audience. A split-level roller-skating rink was also incorporated. For mind blowing 18 years, Starlight Express played at the theatre and closed in 2002.
